Meet the McLiney family
Fortress Floors KC is independently owned and operated by our family, based in Lenexa, and serving the Kansas City metro.
Kevin McLiney Sr owns the company and handles pricing and estimates. Kevin Jr and Daniel both work in sales and help coordinate projects and customer communication. Daniel also helps with field work, while Kevin Jr handles marketing.
Together, we coordinate estimates, communication, scheduling, and projects. Our experienced crews perform the flooring work.

A flooring recommendation should explain the choices
Some floors need replacement. Others need damaged boards repaired, a worn finish renewed, or a different color. Our job is to explain which options fit the floor and what each involves.
Hardwood, stairs, and LVP
We restore existing hardwood, repair damaged areas, install new flooring, and update stairs. When old and new floors meet, matching, transitions, and finishing boundaries belong in the plan from the beginning.
Concrete coatings and commercial flooring
We coat garages, basements, patios, and commercial concrete floors. Preparation, slab condition, moisture, exposure, and intended use guide the system recommendation. Commercial projects also require planning around access and operations.
