Closed stairs require fitting between walls or stringers. Open-sided stairs may need finished tread returns and additional detailing around the railing.

Can you replace only a damaged tread?

Can we use the stairs during the project?
Access depends on installation and finishing requirements. Tell us if this is the only route to bedrooms or another essential area. We agree on the access plan and waiting periods before work begins.
Do you build structural staircases or replace railings?
Our primary scope is finished hardwood stair components, flooring transitions, and related finish work. Structural reconstruction and specialized railing work need to be identified separately during the estimate.
